Privacy policy

No accounts or forms

There is no registration and there are no forms on the site. Data tables for download are created right in your browser; nothing is sent to us.

Settings on your device

The site remembers a few settings on your device. They are needed for the site to work and are not used for tracking:

• the lang cookie: the language you chose, so that the main address opens in it (kept for one year);
• cs.theme in your browser’s local storage: light or dark theme;
• cs.compare in local storage: the countries you selected for comparison.

You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

Analytics

We do not use analytics services or visitor counters.

Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the address you request. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Requests to other services

Fonts, flags and maps are served from our own server; the site does not load fonts from Google. To show the weather, your browser contacts our server, and our server requests the forecast from MET Norway for the coordinates of the capital. No data about you is passed on.

Advertising

The site may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first.

How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can turn off personalised ads in My Ad Center and opt out of ads from other companies at aboutads.info.

Your rights

We do not keep personal data about you ourselves, so there is nothing for us to provide or delete on request.
